Direct flights from Cape Town or Johannesburg to Maun, followed by either a helicopter transfer to camp or a light aircraft flight to Santawani Airstrip and an onward game drive transfer.
The standard suites closest to the Gomoti River offer the strongest sense of immersion, with uninterrupted views across the floodplains. The 3 family suites provide additional space for families while maintaining the same elevated feel. Across all categories, expect spacious suites raised on wooden decks beneath ebony trees, with plunge pools, outdoor salas, minibars, environmentally friendly air conditioning systems above the beds, and a warm contemporary aesthetic.
Dining is elegant yet relaxed, with meals served under thatch, beneath the trees, or out under the stars. A walk-in wine cellar and wood-fired pizza oven add a more social and contemporary edge to the experience, while meals remain plated rather than buffet-style.
Neutral safari clothing, a warm layer for winter mornings, swimwear for the plunge pool, and binoculars for the exceptional predator and birdlife.
Spend time around camp during the heat of the day. Wildlife often moves directly through the surrounding floodplains, and the raised walkways and decks make game viewing part of everyday camp life.
