Best air links are Hoedspruit HDS airport followed by a ~45 drive, or KMIA MQP airport followed by a ~2.5 hrs drive, many guests also fly Federal Air or private charter to the Thornybush airstrip then ~5–10 min game-viewer transfer to the lodge, self-drive from Johannesburg ~5–6 hrs.
Core house sleeps 6 in three bedrooms (two main bedrooms, one with an interleading third bedroom), with the separate Bush Suite added on request to take the villa to 8; private lounge, dining and deck with pool. Children of all ages welcome.
Fully private and tailored by your personal chef: sunrise coffees and hot breakfasts after drive, relaxed salad-and-grill lunches on the deck, polished three-course dinners or braai nights under lanterns, with all local drinks included (house wines, beers and spirits).

Your stay contributes to habitat management and protection across the private reserve, with nightly levies supporting anti-poaching and community projects; Thornybush also runs extensive children’s activities that build future conservation champions.
