
Fly to Maun (MUB) with a light aircraft transfer to Duke’s Airstrip ~30–40 minutes flight time. From airstrip to camp approximately 10–15 minutes by game vehicle.
All eight tents share similar layouts, but the outer tents positioned slightly further from the main mess area offer added privacy and uninterrupted bush views. Expect deep canvas walls, antique-style furnishings, Persian rugs, a proper four-poster bed draped in mosquito netting, and a private veranda ideal for quiet wildlife watching between drives.
Fully inclusive safari dining served in the vintage mess tent or under the stars- always communal dining with the other guests. Expect plated three-course dinners, generous breakfasts, bush brunches after morning drives, and classic safari sundowners. Private dining can be arranged with prior notice.
Neutral tones, light cotton layers for warm days, fleece for cool mornings (especially May–August), binoculars, and soft-sided luggage (strict light aircraft limits apply).
Ask your guide about the resident elephant pathways near camp, herds frequently move through the concession. If water levels allow, request a mokoro excursion for a slower Delta perspective. Duke’s has one of the most characterful bar set-ups in the Delta, perfect for the storytelling after dinner.
