
Fly scheduled/charter from Arusha to Mwiba Airstrip; followed by a ~15-minute road transfer to the lodge. The Ndutu Airstrip is a ~2.5-hour game drive away. From Ngorongoro Crater it’s roughly 3.5–4 hours by road.
Families can ask for one of the two inter-leading pairs to keep adjoining privacy with separate sleeping areas. All suites include deep tubs, indoor/outdoor showers, evening-breeze bed cooling and private verandas.
Contemporary fine bush cuisine is served in rotating alfresco settings and the main lodge, with fresh breads and fruits at breakfast, picnic/larder lunches on game drives, and refined plated dinners, think prime steaks, salads, seasonal tarts, paired with a thoughtful wine list. Private “treehouse” or deck dinners can be arranged.
Neutral layers, a warm fleece for night drives, a light rain shell Nov–May, wide-brim hat, polarized sunglasses, soft-sided daypack, and a beanbag/strap for big lenses.
Calving peaks in early–mid February; stay 3–4 nights to combine private night drives with a day in Ndutu or the southern Serengeti (often included on 3-night stays). Helicopter scenic flights can be arranged over the reserve. Camp is closed from March to July 2026.
