A&K's Flagship Okavango Delta luxury lodge on the north-western edge of Chief’s Island in the Mombo sector. Vast bush pavilions with private plunge pools look onto the seasonal Piajio floodplain where predators patrol and elephants wade. Rebuilt to contemporary “safari-chic,” the camp layers a spa, gym and orientation room with thoughtful touches like a pizza deck and sand-boma nights. Game viewing is consistently high with seasonal mokoro possible when waters allow.

Our Favorite Rooms

Choose a pavilion 5 to 7 for broad Piajio floodplain vistas and potential frequent predator movement. Each is suite is ~141 m² with indoor lounge, floor-to-ceiling bathroom windows, indoor/outdoor showers and a private plunge pool that fronts the grassland. Geoffrey Kent Suite is perfect for families or friends wanting exclusivity with inter-leading pavilions with private vehicle/guide, personal chef, waiter and housekeeper, plus private boma, lounge, dining and pool.

Dining

Plated meals in the dining room or out on the deck, relaxed à la carte lunches, private-deck dinners on request and convivial sand-boma evenings feature local dishes (think seswaa and grilled game). The pizza deck adds a fun as an informal option.

Packing Tips

Neutral layers for cool mornings/hot middays, sun hat, polarising sunglasses, light rain shell in green season, closed shoes for short guided walks, soft case for camera with spare batteries/SDs; smart-casual is perfect for dinner.

Insider Tips

On boma nights try the local seswaa and bream alongside kudu sausage- so delicious. For golden-hour cats, request a slightly earlier afternoon departure in dry season and photographers should book the 30–60-minute heli flips over the permanent Delta for geometry-rich flood patterns.
