Five Meru-style tents set on exclusive semi-permanent sites inside Chobe National Park, close to the riverfront where elephant herds pour down to drink, the mood is stripped-back and adventurous with bucket showers, fireside dinners and game drives that work the floodplains and teak woodland from first light to last.

Our Favorite Rooms

All tents share the same layout with ensuite flush loo and hot bucket shower. This is pure adventure under the African sky.

Dining

Pan-African, open-fire cooking with fresh baking and camp-oven roasts, hearty bush breakfasts after drive, relaxed salad-and-grill lunches and star-lit dinners around the fire; signatures guests mention include pot-bread with chakalaka, slow-grilled meats and a sweet finish like malva pudding.

Packing Tips

Quick-dry layers for cool dawns and warm middays, a light windproof for open vehicles and boat runs, closed shoes for sandy paths, a small headlamp and power bank, and a soft duffel if linking by light aircraft.

Insider Tips

Stay two nights to unlock the half-day photographic boat cruise, ask the chef for pot-bread on the coals and a braai night, and if water is glassy at dusk, work the riverfront for elephants crossing in golden light.

Conservation Efforts

Semi-permanent sites keep the footprint feather-light with no generators and solar lighting, vehicle densities are tightly managed inside the park, and brand-wide support runs through &Beyond’s Wild Impact community projects and the Rhinos Without Borders partnership relocating rhino to safer Botswana strongholds.
