A Réserve-Collection icon on the private Duba Concession (≈33,000 ha) in the northern Okavango. Five lavish canvas suites (each with a private plunge pool) plus a separate two-bedroom Duba Plains Suite look over classic floodplains renowned by Dereck & Beverly Joubert’s films. Expect top-tier guiding, a serious wine cellar and an interactive kitchen; activities flex between big-game drives, seasonal boating/mokoro and guided walks.

Our Favorite Rooms

All 5 guests suites share the same layout. For families or complete privacy, the Duba Plains Suite includes private guide/vehicle, butler and chef.

Dining

Chef-led, daily-changing menus served on deck, in the interactive kitchen or at private setups with thoughtful pairings from the cellar. Recent seasons feature Resident Executive Chef Herold (Great Plains “Food for Thought”) and a philosophy of refined bush cuisine - expect elegant fireside mains and indulgent camp classics (their festive Christmas pudding is a house tradition).

Packing Tips

Neutral layers (cold dawns Jun–Aug), light rain shell (Nov–Mar), polarized sunglasses, wide-brim hat, swimsuit for your plunge pool, and a soft daypack for camera/binoculars, pro kit and binoculars are provided in-suite.

Insider Tips

Plan at least 3–4 nights; ask your guide about historic lion–buffalo dynamics and current wild dog ranges; when floods are up, boat one way and game-drive back. Book a private heli flip in dry months for jaw-dropping aerials.
