A classic, under-canvas camp in the Nayasirori sector of the Serengeti’s western corridor, close to the Grumeti River. With just six tents (five suites plus one 2-bedroom family tent), Mila delivers “Out of Africa” romance with modern comforts and a big focus on flexibility: every booking includes a private guide and private vehicle. Expect superb year-round game viewing, notably strong lion encounters, with walking safaris and hot-air ballooning available.

Our Favorite Rooms

Family tent for two couples or families, comes with two full en-suite bedrooms linked by a lounge, keeping space and privacy without splitting tents. All tents have mosquito-netted beds, ensuite bathrooms (double vanities), fully plumbed showers, in-tent charging stations/USB, and a shaded veranda.

Dining

Breakfasts mix continental spreads with hot orders; lunch & dinner lean family-style sharing plates with al-fresco options, plus picnic boxes options for full-day drives. House wines/beer/spirits included and dietary preferences happily handled.

Tips

Packing Tips

Neutral layers (cool dawns Jun–Aug), a light rain shell (Nov–Jan short rains), wide-brim hat, polarized sunglasses, soft daypack; ballooning is chilly—add a warm layer.

Insider Tips

Plan 3–4 nights to combine full-day private drives with a guided walk; ask your guide to time a day along the Grumeti during May–July for migrating herds and croc action. We do suggest to pre-book ballooning due to limited seats.
