Six cliff-hugging stone suites with private plunge pools, outdoor showers and wide valley views; dramatic, intimate, and built for couples. Expect polished guiding with access to cheetah-friendly open pans, plus rooftop dining and stargazing terraces between drives. The lodge design leans adobe-stone and timber, seemingly “suspended” above the gorge.

Our Favorite Rooms

All six cliff-edge suites face the valley with decks and private plunge pools, request an outdoor-shower suite at booking (limited to 3 rooms of 6), for the quietest outlook choose an end-of-row suite; for easy access pick a unit near the main area.

Dining

Candlelit, cliff-edge meals and rooftop dinners on calm nights; menus lean KZN flavours with refined plating and a tight cellar. Insider: for a full on South African dining experience, ask the kitchen for a bobotie-and-malva-pudding dinner.

Packing Tips

Breathable neutrals for warm days and cool dawns, light windproof for open vehicles on ridge tops, closed shoes for short rocky paths, swimwear for your plunge pool, binoculars for raptor-rich ridgelines.

Insider Tips

Book at least one conservation activity privately (rhino de‑horning observation or pangolin monitoring, when scheduled). Add Sodwana Bay for a whale shark or turtle‑season (Nov–Feb) adventure.
