Explorer-Collection camp in the south-west Selinda Reserve, right where the upper Okavango meets the Selinda Spillway - a classic 1920s-style, light-impact tented camp with superb walking safaris, flexible day & night drives, and seasonal canoeing when channels flood. Small, intimate and adventure-forward.

Our Favorite Rooms

All tents share similar layout and sit on low decking with mosquito-netted beds, fans, charging, a veranda, and en-suite with flush loo, hot shower & double basins.

Dining

Unfussy, expedition-style cuisine served under canvas or al-fresco by the fire. Mornings start with early coffee & rusks and often bush breakfasts on drive; picnic/larder lunches keep you out all day; evenings are relaxed plated three-course dinners by lantern. Menus are happily tailored (strong plant-forward options on request, with quality proteins like Botswana beef, free-range chicken and local freshwater bream).

Packing Tips

Soft duffel; neutral layers (chilly dawns Jun–Aug), light rain shell (Nov–Mar), buff for dust, headlamp, and sandals/swimsuit for channel-edge cooldowns when water is up.

Insider Tips

Mix long drives with at least one guided walk and if the Spillway floods, book a golden-hour canoe and a boat-in/drive-back combo. Work treeline edges at first/last light for wild dog & lion.
