Seven thatch-and-canvas tents, including one family unit, perch on raised decks along the channel in the private Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, with day and night drives, guided walks when conditions allow, seasonal boating, a plunge pool, and a signature Savuti Star Bed out on the lagoon for those who want to sleep to the sounds of the bush. This is big-game country with excellent predator action and famous dry-season elephant concentrations.

Our Favorite Rooms

All tents are en-suite on raised decks facing the channel. Families usually ask for the two-bedroom family tent so everyone shares one broad deck without losing space

Dining

Campfire breakfasts after dawn drives, fresh salads and bakes at lunch, and fireside dinners under the stars in the boma, with special bush suppers set up on request, all paired with simple, generous Wilderness hospitality rather than fuss.

Packing Tips

Neutral layers for cool dawns and warm middays, a windproof for night drives, polarized sunglasses, a beanbag for the vehicle or hide, and a soft duffel to respect light-aircraft limits.

Insider Tips

Pre-book the Savuti Star Bed well ahead, ask your guide to time one long dusk drive when the elephants pour off the mopane to drink, and keep a spare hour for the photographic hide when the light softens.
