Fly Cape Town (CPT) to George (GRJ) ~50–55 min, then by car to Villa Afrikana ~65 km / ~50–60 min. Self-drive from Cape Town on the N2 is straightforward. Secure on-site parking provided.
The Owner’s Suite (first floor) adds a 23.5 m² private balcony over the lagoon with a spacious 23.5 m² bedroom and a 9.5 m² bathroom featuring a soaking tub, separate shower and under-floor heating - perfect for long, quiet mornings. For slightly lower budgets, Gouna or Matarolli still deliver full-frontal lagoon views, a private entrance, luxury bath + shower set-up and that immaculate white, art-driven feel the property is known for.
Full, cooked-to-order breakfast included (dining room or in-suite), afternoon tea with cakes/savouries. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and a licensed honesty bar and light meals available in the dining room or in-suite. Knysna Waterfront/Thesen Island restaurants are a short drive or downhill walk.
Coastal layers (mornings/evenings can be cool even in summer), light rain shell for sea breezes, swimsuit for the pool, comfy shoes for lagoon walks and the Heads, SA Type-M plug adapter if needed.
Take breakfast on your private balcony on a clear day and plan afternoon tea at the villa before dinner out. Also great base to explore Tsitsikamma National Park. Pre-dinner drinks are offered (T&Cs apply) and light meals can be served in-suite if you’re staying.
