Take a light aircraft from Maun to Stanley’s/Baines’ airstrip ~25–30 min or fly from Kasane to Stanley’s/Baines’ airstrip 1h30–1h45, then followed by a 15-25min game-drive transfer to the lodge.
All rooms share similar layout. Expect generous veranda with hammock and Morris chairs for armchair game-viewing; inside, canvas-and-carpet comfort with ceiling fan, coffee station, compact gym kit and a proper writing desk.
Plated, seasonally-inspired menus in the tented dining space or alfresco under the trees. Enjoy candlelit dinners, bush breakfasts and all-day snacks replace the old “tea time, then dinner” rhythm.
Soft-sided 20 kg light-aircraft allowance; neutral layers for cool mornings and warm middays, a light scarf for dust on night drives, sandals plus closed shoes, wide-brim hat and polarized sunglasses, dry bag for mokoro/boating.
Aadd the Elephant Havens or “Conservation & Co-Existence” experiences for a meaningful Delta morning. Photographers should pair golden-hour game drives with a 45–60 min “Framing the Boro” heli flip.
