Fly by scheduled charter from Johannesburg or Skukuza to Satara Airstrip, followed by an approximately 45-minute road transfer to the lodge. Self-drive through the Kruger Park to the lodge is also possible.
The suites furthest downstream offer the greatest sense of privacy and immersion in the riverine forest. The standard suites feature floor-to-ceiling glass, spacious decks, outdoor daybeds, and elegant contemporary interiors inspired by the textures and colours of the surrounding landscape. The two-bedroom Sweni Pool Suite is ideal for families or couples travelling together, offering a private pool, larger entertaining spaces, and additional exclusivity.
Dining is intimate and highly personalised, with menus shaped around seasonal ingredients and Singita’s renowned wine programme. Meals are served across a variety of settings, including river-facing decks, lantern-lit dining areas, and traditional boma evenings.

The concession forms part of a protected wilderness area managed through a combination of intensive anti-poaching operations, biodiversity monitoring, habitat management, and community partnerships. Through the Singita Lowveld Trust, substantial investment is directed towards rhino protection, ecological research, environmental education, and neighbouring community development programmes.
