Fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport, followed by a 1.5 to 2-hour road transfer into the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve
The river-facing luxury tents offer the best experience, with elevated decks overlooking the riverbed. Expect spacious tented suites with en suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, air conditioning, and a classic safari feel with a modern touch.
Dining is relaxed and social, with meals served on the deck or in the boma. Expect generous, well-executed safari cuisine, often enjoyed overlooking the riverbed with wildlife passing nearby.

Spend time on the main deck between drives - wildlife often gathers at the river below, making it one of the easiest lodges to enjoy game viewing without even having leave the camp.
