Fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport, followed by an approx. 45-minute road transfer to the lodge, or self-drive from Johannesburg in around 6 hours.
All suites are well spaced within the gardens and along the riverbed, offering a strong sense of privacy. Expect large, traditional safari-style suites with private decks, en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and a calm, residential feel rather than a high-design lodge. Some rooms are better suited for families, with flexible configurations.
Dining is generous and relaxed, often enjoyed outdoors or in the boma. Expect classic safari cuisine with a focus on quality, fresh ingredients, and a social, unpretentious atmosphere.
Neutral safari clothing, a warm layer for early mornings, and comfortable shoes for time spent around camp between drives.
This is not a high-drama, high-traffic safari lodge. It’s best for guests who appreciate quieter sightings, space, and a more authentic bush atmosphere.
