Simbavati Camp George sits within the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, one of the largest and least commercialised areas of the Greater Kruger ecosystem. Set among mature jackalberry and leadwood trees along a dry riverbed, the lodge feels established and grounded, with a strong sense of history and continuity. It offers a more traditional safari experience, centred on space, quiet, and genuine hospitality, with excellent Big Five game viewing in a less crowded part of the Kruger system.

Our Favorite Rooms

All suites are well spaced within the gardens and along the riverbed, offering a strong sense of privacy. Expect large, traditional safari-style suites with private decks, en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and a calm, residential feel rather than a high-design lodge. Some rooms are better suited for families, with flexible configurations.

Dining

Dining is generous and relaxed, often enjoyed outdoors or in the boma. Expect classic safari cuisine with a focus on quality, fresh ingredients, and a social, unpretentious atmosphere.
