The Luxury Rooms set around the rose garden offer the most consistent experience, each with a private patio, fireplace, and elegant Victorian-inspired interiors. The Honeymoon Suite is more secluded, positioned near the forest edge for added privacy, while the Family Cottage and Family Suite provide more space and flexibility for families. Expect refined, classic interiors with en suite bathrooms, underfloor heating, and a strong sense of comfort and detail.
Dining is a highlight, centred around the Conservatory restaurant. Expect refined, seasonal cuisine with a strong emphasis on local ingredients, paired with attentive service and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Breakfasts at Schoone Oordt are equally made with love and passion. They are a 3-(some say 4-course) gourmet affair and our small country hotel has developed quite a reputation for them.
Light clothing for warm days, a jacket for cooler evenings, and comfortable shoes for exploring the town and surrounding area.
Dinner at the Conservatory is not to be missed — this is where the property really sets itself apart.
