Drive from George Airport, approx. 25–30 minutes, or approx. 4.5 hours from Cape Town along the Garden Route.
The Superior Rooms offer the strongest overall experience, with elevated 180-degree mountain and valley views, spacious lounge areas, fireplaces, and large en suite bathrooms. The Luxury Rooms are more contemporary and spacious, while the Family Rooms work particularly well for guests travelling with children. Across all categories, expect fireplaces, air conditioning, minibars, lounge areas, and a warm, residential safari feel rather than a highly polished luxury-lodge atmosphere.
Dining is relaxed and family-friendly, centred around Bellevue Restaurant. Expect generous portions, varied menus, and an easy atmosphere suited to both couples and families.
Comfortable safari clothing, swimwear for the pools and spa, and a light jacket for cooler evenings.
This works best as a softer safari introduction. It’s ideal for families, first-time safari travellers, or guests wanting to combine wildlife with the Garden Route rather than a remote bush experience.
Botlierskop supports wildlife conservation and rehabilitation initiatives across the reserve, including cheetah conservation, veterinary safaris, and habitat protection within the 4,500-hectare reserve.
