Fly by light aircraft from Maun (MUB) to the airstrip serving the Pom Pom / Nxabega concession, followed by a short game-drive transfer to camp
Three spacious, insect-proof canvas tents in classic mobile-safari style, understated but comfortable, with solar-powered lighting, convenient plug points, a standing fan, and an en-suite bathroom featuring double showers, twin vanities, hot running water and a flush toilet.
Relaxed, classic safari dining in keeping with the camp's simple, stylish character, all meals plus soft drinks, house wines, local spirits and beers included, taken communally in the mess tent or out in the bush, an intimate, sociable feel given the camp's size.
Neutral safari layers with a warm jacket, beanie and gloves for cold winter dawn drives and mokoro outings (June–August), lighter clothing for the hot October build-up, closed shoes for bush walks, a sun hat, sunscreen and binoculars, insect repellent and antimalarials, swimwear, a headtorch, camera gear, and a soft bag (~20 kg) for the light aircraft.
This is andBeyond's "connection over luxury" camp, so come for authentic, classic safari simplicity rather than five-star polish (pair it with a plusher andBeyond Delta lodge like Sandibe if you want contrast). Being tiny, at three tents, it's superb for an exclusive-use family or friends' buyout, and the Pom Pom concession offers genuine water-and-land variety, so time a visit for the flood (roughly May–September) to make the most of mokoro and boat safaris.
